Musical Beginnings
I started playing guitar at the age of 12. Heavily influence at a later by Iron Maiden, AC-DC and Ozzy. Then after graduation, I found Metallica, Anthrax and Megadeth. When Pantera hit the scene, wow, game changer for me. Dimebags power riffs and blistering solos where a huge inspiration.
Finally Find a Fit
I auditioned for a bass player who was starting a new band. "Metal Dan", what a badass. With his friend Don on drums and later adding Dale on 2nd guitar and Steven on vocals...
Last Nerve was born.
Over the course of the next 7 or 8 years, we had great times playing, creating and recording.
But as is inevitability, problems arose and the band split.
With two CDs to our name,
"Same Difference" and "Chemical Drive",
those amazing memories will live on.
Looking to the Future
At an older age, creating music without pressure and expectations is extremely fulfilling. My old bandmate and I started a project called DARK IDIOMS. We strive to create and record the music we enjoy not caring who likes it, or doesn't. It something we enjoy and will always do.
